How to Use This Site

Finding Events

Our platform offers multiple ways to discover barrel racing events that match your needs:

1. Schedule View: Visit the Schedule page to browse all upcoming events in a comprehensive list format
2. Interactive Map: Explore the Map to visualize event locations and plan your competition schedule geographically
3. Calendar View: Access the Calendar to view events organized by specific dates
4. Advanced Search: Use the Search functionality to find specific events, organizers, or venues

Each viewing option includes comprehensive filtering capabilities, allowing you to refine results by state, event tags, date ranges, and other criteria to find exactly what you're looking for.

Submit an Event

📣 Are you hosting a barrel racing event? Get it in front of more riders by listing it on the Barrel Racing Events & Connections!

📍 Reminder: You can submit events from anywhere in the U.S. — states will appear as events are added.

👥 Promoters:

If you see your event already listed and want to manage it, just:

1. Create a profile
2. View your event's details
3. Request promoter access

❓ Can you submit an event even if you're not the promoter?

Yes! We welcome community submissions.

👉 Just be sure to add this note:

"This was not added by the event host. Please call before you haul, as it may not reflect recent updates."

📝 How to Submit an Event

1. Create or Log In to Your Account
   - Go to the My Events page.
   - If you don't have an account yet, you'll be prompted to create one.
2. Submit a New Event
   - Click Submit New Event to access the full event form.
   - Our system will automatically generate map coordinates from your address.
3. Recurring Events or Jackpot Series?
   - Use the "Create as Recurring Series" checkbox to create a full event series at once.
   - Choose a pattern (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly), the day of the week, and either a number of events (up to 12) or an end date.
   - A real-time preview will show you all generated event dates.
   - Each event in the series is created as an individual entry, which you can edit, reschedule, cancel, or delete independently.
4. Multi-Day Events
   - Use the multi-day option only for events that span multiple consecutive days (e.g., Friday–Sunday).

📌 What You'll Need

• Event title and venue/arena name
• Full event address (street, city, state)
• Event date(s) – single, multi-day, or recurring
• Description and any special details
• Organizer contact info
• Optional: flyer upload and registration link

📋 Event Guidelines

• Events must be barrel racing related
• Provide accurate date and location info
• Include complete contact details for verification
• All submissions are reviewed before publication

How to Save the App

1. If you opened it from Facebook, "Send to Browser"
2. Save app to Home Screen
   • Safari: tap square with arrow (share icon) → choose Add Bookmark or Add to Home Screen.
   • Chrome / Firefox: tap ⋮ / ••• menu → select Add to Bookmarks or Add to Home Screen.
