Data Deletion Request

Your privacy matters to us. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time.

Barrel Racing Events & Connections allows you to delete your account and all associated personal data. This page explains what data we hold and how to request its removal.

What Data We Store
Account Information
Name, email address, and profile details
Event Data
Events you have submitted, liked, or followed
Location Preferences
Your saved location for nearby event filtering
Notification Preferences
Email and SMS opt-in settings
Communication Logs
History of notifications sent to you
Facebook Login Data
If you signed in via Facebook, your Facebook user ID and public profile info
How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:

Option 1 — Delete from Your Account (Fastest)
  1. Log in to your account at barrelracingevents.com
  2. Go to your Account Settings or Profile
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete My Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Email Request

Send an email to barrelracing.eventsandconnections@gmail.com with the subject line:

Data Deletion Request – [Your Name or Email Address]

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Message Us on Facebook

Send us a message via Facebook Messenger requesting data deletion:

We will confirm your request and complete deletion within 30 days.

What Happens When You Request Deletion
  • Your account and login credentials are permanently removed
  • Your name, email, and phone number are deleted from our database
  • Your liked and followed events are unlinked and removed
  • Your notification preferences and communication history are deleted
  • Any events you submitted that are still pending will be removed; approved public events may be retained in anonymized form to preserve the event listing
  • If Meta/Facebook-connected features were used, related identifiers in our systems (such as stored Meta user ID/profile fields linked to your account) are deleted or de-linked during account deletion
  • We may retain limited records when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention obligations
