On your phone
Put Barrel Racing Events & Connections on your phone like an app — with an icon you can tap at the show. No App Store or Google Play download needed.
You do not need to hunt for a store listing.
Here is how it works.
Works on your phone
Open barrel-racing.app in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). Enter events, check draws and results, and use Live Dashboard — all in your browser.
Save an icon to home
Add it to your home screen once. After that, tap the icon anytime — it opens full screen, more like the apps you already use, without typing the address.
Not in the App Store
There is no separate download in Apple's App Store or Google Play right now. A store app is not planned at this time. Saving to your home screen is the way to keep it handy.
Takes about a minute. Do this once; the icon stays on your phone.
Open in your browser
Go to barrel-racing.app in Safari or Chrome. If you tapped a link in Facebook or Messenger, choose Open in browser / Send to browser first — saving works best there, not inside the Facebook app.
Add to Home Screen
iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button→ scroll → Add to Home Screen → Add.
Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen or Install app.
Open from your home screen
Look for the Barrel Racing icon. Tap it at the show for draws, results, and Live Dashboard — same account you already use.
Why is this called an app?
This is a web app, not an App Store or Google Play app. That just means it lives on the internet and opens in your phone's browser (Safari or Chrome), instead of being a separate download from Apple or Google's store. You can still put an icon on your home screen so it feels like a regular app.
Will I lose my entries if I only use the website?
No. Your account, entries, and payments live with your login — whether you open the site in a browser tab or from a home-screen icon.
Do I need to update it like a store app?
No separate update from a store. When you open it, you get the latest version automatically.
Will there be an App Store or Google Play app later?
Not planned right now. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly. For now, saving to your home screen is the recommended way to keep the app on your phone.
